thoughts

it's been awhile. i haven't blogged because i don't feel like i have anything to talk about. and i still don't. i've turned into a boring housewife. i cook, clean, do the laundry...oh and work. busy, busy, boring. so i decided maybe i should blog anyway. maybe i'll blog about all the books i read or the yummy recipes i find and successfully make. or maybe i'll blog about nothing. 
khemia left a couple weeks ago to serve a mission in london, england! so cool. we made sure to do a lot as a family before she left, which was nice. 
mike had an muay thai fight last month. unfortunately he lost, but he still did a great job and as always, i'm so proud of him and all his hard work!
i've started running again now that the weather is mostly decent. i've also been watching what i'm eating and lost 4lbs in a week! maybe eating better isn't so hard....
it's almost may! that means i get my husband back! school is a pain. mike is always in class, doing research assistant hours, working, or working out. i'm tired of not seeing him. but in one month from today, we are going to lake powell and that means four days together!!!! seriously soooooo excited! 
life is good. sometimes i have to remind myself how lucky i am, but i am so thankful for all the things i have.
