Sunrise

Well I did it. I hiked and saw the sunrise and I loved it! Abby and I picked the perfect spot to see it and I'm excited to go back and see the sunset there this summer! We got up there a bit before the sun rose and we were trying to decide if we should wait for it to fully come over the mountain or just hike back down, and it's a good thing we are indecisive because as we were deciding, the sun chose for us! It was definitely worth the wait! Not only do I love seeing the sunrise, but I love being up in the mountains and enjoying my surroundings. It was really fun to go to Ensign Peak because I have never been up there before. It helped me learn about the pioneers just a little bit more and picture what it would've been like being there when nothing had been built yet. It must have been so amazing to see the valley and all the hope it gave. I love that the temple is straight across from the peak! Abby and I talked a lot about what it would be like to see it and be apart of building the city up.
This week I also met up with Abby, Matt, Hannah, and Ducky for a fun Friday night. We had a fun fire! I'm so happy it's finally starting to be warm so I can be outside in the evening more. There is nothing better than being outside during the summer.
I can't believe I forgot! I had my FIRST snowcone of the season this week! It was sooo delicious! (just thought I'd share)
To end the week, I had fun taking a few pictures at the wedding open house last night. I really hope that I can get better at taking pictures now that I have a good camera. And if not, at least I will have more pictures!

The sun coming over the mountain

So glad we stayed to see the sun over the mountain!

It may not be a perfect picture, but we had a fun night
