September wasn't for reading.

Okay, I didn't do much reading in September. I don't even understand. I don't have a job, so besides spending a few hours a day on school, I literally have all day to read. Instead I spent the month watching netflix. I have become a pro at netflix. I've easily watched 5 different series and lots of movies. People, I Need a job! Haha.
 But anyway, only six books this month. Ughhhhhh.

71. The scorch trials- James Dashner (sequel to the maze runner)
72. The death cure- James Dasner

{I LOVED the maze runner. The scorch trials was okay, and by the time I got to the death cure, I was just bored. I'm pretty sure this is why I didn't read much. I spent three weeks just reading these two books}

73. The giver- Lois Lowry
74. Gathering blue- Lois Lowry
75. Messenger- Lois Lowry
76. Son- Lois Lowry

K, did you guys know the giver was part of a series???
If you've only ever read the giver, go read the other three right now. Seriously, go!

The way Lois Lowry weaves the characters and stories together is lovely. I loved the story of the giver, but it's even better when you meet new characters and "elsewhere" and see how they all connect. This collection of books is one of my favorite from this year.

**has anyone that's read the book seen the movie? Was it worth it? What about for the maze runner?

Right now I'm reading Mike's grandma's favorite book, Tisha. {I love getting books as presents!}

Read anything good lately?
