Cutting out sweets, day 5

It's been 5 days. ONLY 5 DAYS. Oh my word, how am I going to make it a whole month??? 

Tonight was tough. I wanted sweets so bad! So mike and I decided to make smoothies. To do this, we had to go to the store. Do you know how many yummy sweets they have at fresh market?? Peanut butter bars, chocolate donuts, sour gummy worms, cake, cookies, any kind of candy....ugh! Torture. Pure torture. And while mike is trying to cut back, he's not cutting out, so he kept saying he was going to get something, but he didn't. Thankfully. 

In my 5 short days of cutting out, I can already tell a difference. My body feels so good! I have so much more energy and I'm eating more fruits, which makes me want to eat better overall. :)

So smoothies, so good and so much better than sweets!  

Here's what we made: 
 
World's best smoothies: 

(For 2)

2 c plain non-fat yogurt
2 bananas 
1 c orange juice 
12 frozen strawberries


That's all, so yummy!
